Poker Table Selection
From classic Texas Hold'em to Omaha and unique side games — ibet789 offers a wide range of options to ensure every Malaysian player finds a table that suits their style and budget.
The most popular poker variant in the world and in Malaysia. Two hole cards, five community cards — the best hand wins. Available in Ring Game, Sit & Go, and Tournament formats.
Blinds: RM 0.10/0.25 – RM 50/100Four hole cards, five community cards — you must use exactly two of your hole cards. Omaha Hi-Lo splits the pot between the highest and lowest qualifying hands, making every decision more complex and rewarding.
Blind: RM 0.50/1 – RM 25/50A fast-paced Texas Hold'em variant played with a 36-card deck (2–5 removed). Hand rankings differ slightly — a flush beats a full house. Expect more action and faster-growing pots.
Blind: RM 1/2 – RM 20/40Fold and instantly receive new cards at another table — no time wasted waiting around. This format is ideal for busy Malaysian players who want to maximise the number of hands they play per hour.
Blind: RM 0.10/0.25 – RM 5/10Ibet789's exclusive tables for players ready to play at a higher level. A more private setting, more serious competition, and significantly higher betting limits — for those who truly back their game.
Blinds: RM 100/200 – RM 500/1,000Play one-on-one against a video poker machine — the perfect option when you want to practise without the pressure of other players. Available in Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, and Double Bonus variants at ibet789.
Bet: RM 1 – RM 500 per sessionAsk any poker enthusiast in Malaysia and they will tell you the same thing — poker is not just about the cards you hold, but about how you read your opponents, manage your chips, and make decisions under pressure. That is what sets poker apart from most other casino games. At ibet789, we understand this philosophy and have built a poker platform that respects and gives space to players who genuinely want to grow in the game.
Since ibet789 launched its online poker platform, it has become one of the top destinations for Malaysian poker players. Not just because of the bonuses — though our bonuses are genuinely competitive — but because of the overall quality of the playing experience. Smooth software, a clean and intuitive interface, tables that are always filled with real players from across Malaysia, and a system that is transparent and trustworthy. That is the foundation on which ibet789 has built a strong poker community.
In Malaysia, poker has long been played casually among friends — Friday night card games at a mate's place, or a relaxed weekend session at an apartment in Petaling Jaya. ibet789 brings that same spirit online, with more opponents, more game variety, and far greater real-money winning potential. No need to work around anyone else's schedule or wait for enough people to show up — at ibet789, the tables are always open and there's always someone ready to play.
For players new to online poker, Texas Hold'em is the most logical place to start. The rules are straightforward enough to pick up quickly, yet the strategic depth is virtually limitless — you can play for years and still uncover new layers to master. At ibet789, we offer Texas Hold'em tables across a wide range of blind levels — from micro stakes starting at RM 0.10/0.25 for beginners, all the way up to high-stakes tables for experienced players looking for a serious challenge.
The Ring Game format at ibet789 lets you join and leave the table whenever you like — great for a more relaxed session. Sit & Go is a mini-tournament that starts automatically once the required number of players has gathered — typically 6 or 9. And for fans of bigger tournaments, ibet789 runs Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs) daily, with various buy-in levels and attractive prize pools.
If Texas Hold'em is starting to feel too familiar, Omaha at ibet789 might be exactly the next challenge you're looking for. With four hole cards instead of two and the requirement to use exactly two of them, Omaha produces significantly stronger hands on average and consistently larger pots. Players who are comfortable with Hold'em will find that their instincts need recalibrating when they switch to Omaha — and that adjustment is a big part of what makes the game so compelling.
Omaha Hi-Lo at ibet789 adds an extra layer by splitting the pot between the highest hand and the lowest qualifying hand (five cards below 8, no pairs). This means there are more ways to win a share of the pot — or even scoop the entire pot if you manage to make a hand that dominates both sides.
While there are no shortcuts to becoming a strong poker player, a few core principles can help you get off to a solid start at ibet789. First, understand the concept of position — where you sit at the table relative to the dealer has a significant impact on the relative strength of your hand. Playing from a late position (near or on the button) gives you an informational advantage, as you get to see every other player's action before making your own decision.
Second, learn to read pot odds. This is the ratio between the current pot size and the amount you need to call — a fundamental piece of maths that helps you make more accurate call-or-fold decisions over the long run. At ibet789, the pot size and current bet are displayed clearly in the interface — make full use of that information.
Third, emotional control is everything. Poker can be deeply frustrating when a stronger hand loses to a weaker one on a bad run of luck. Players who can accept variance calmly and continue making sound, logical decisions will come out ahead in the long run. ibet789 provides tools to set daily session limits — use this feature to protect yourself from making poor decisions driven by emotion.
Managing your bankroll should never be complicated. At ibet789, the deposit process is among the most straightforward in the Malaysian market — we support Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow and FPX via Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. The minimum deposit is just RM 30, and funds reach your poker account within minutes. You can be at a Texas Hold'em or Omaha table in no time after making your deposit.
For poker winnings withdrawals, ibet789 processes requests within 1 to 3 hours for regular members. VIP members enjoy express withdrawals in under 30 minutes — your winnings are credited directly to your preferred e-wallet or bank account. ibet789 does not charge any commission on poker winnings withdrawals, aside from the standard rake, which is transparent and communicated upfront.
Another advantage of playing poker at ibet789 is access to a rakeback and loyalty bonus programme designed specifically for active poker players.
